i used to use 101cd a lot in the past and the service was good but i've been getting annoyed with their spam e mails.

I REGULARLY GET 14 MAILS A DAY!

Whenever i send them an e mail i get no response, i've tried unsubscribing but i get no response.

Whoever runs their marketing is an idiot!
I'll NEVER use them again!

I have ordered a few times from 101cd.com and my experiences have been mixed, but this latest is the worst. Ordered a CD on 3 October, due for release 10 October; tracked on 12 October and the release date had changed to 17 October (but no email was sent informing me). Now it just says 'in process' and there is no date for despatch. As this item is in stock at play.com for immediate despatch at the same price I have asked 101cd.com to cancel the order which they have confirmed as done, but with no explanation as to why their service is so poor. I will not be shopping there again.

As of today, the 27th February 2005, I have three orders with outstanding items on them. The orders are dated the 31st January 2005, the 2nd February 2005 and the 16th February 2005. The items ordered are still being advertised on the site as having lead times of 3 - 5 working days. I have complained to the site and after three complaints I received a reply that the items were out of stock with the suppliers. One complaint managed to get the automated reply, I assume, wishing me a happy New Year (this in late February). This was a very good site but they appear to have completely lost the plot!
