Everyone perspires to some extent, especially when it is hot, but some people perspire and become wet and sticky even under normal conditions. This is where Driclor can help... Embarrassment, stress and tension can make things worse. Driclor is a strong antiperspirant used for treating hyperhidrosis (excessive sweating). Driclor is for the treatment of excessive perspiration of the underarms, the hands and the feet. Driclor contains the active ingredient: 20% w/w aluminium chloride hexahydrate PH. Eur. (185mg/ml), and the inactive ingredients ethyl alcohol and purified water. The active ingredient forms a gel matrix in the sweat glands, which reduces the flow of sweat. Driclor takes a few weeks to work, after which it will only need to be applied every few days. Driclor is safe to use and clinically tested. Driclor is not perfumed, nor is it a deodorant. You may continue to use a deodorant as normal. Driclor is often prescribed by doctors to treat excessive sweating. Driclor is safe to use during pregnancy and breast-feeding. Driclor uses a similar active ingredient to standard anti-perspirants, and works using the same type of mechanism but at a higher strength. 60ml roll-on. Directions for use: Dry the affected area before applying. Sweat can react with Driclor and cause irritation. For the first one or two weeks, apply Driclor daily to the affected area. Driclor should be applied first thing at night before retiring to bed, because this is the time when the sweat glands are least active. Wash as normal in the morning and continue to use your daily deodorant as usual. You should notice an improvement within 1-2 weeks. You can gradually reduce your usage of Driclor, eventually applying only once weekly. Avoid applying Driclor to sensitive or broken skin, or near the eyes. Note that Driclor can stain clothes and jewellery, so let it dry fully before going to bed or wearing clothes. Driclor will not wash off during swimming or bathing. Once a week is usually enough in the long term. Driclor is very safe, but if irritation occurs, please consult your doctor or pharmacist.
