The Staff are great, can't fault them but never anything in stock, no full face helmets, no tyres, no brake pads, no rotors, these should always be in stock, it's a shop, you're losing money, I don't want to wait 2 or 3 days for them to get it in or next day after 3pm if ordered online then having to go back for them. I build and repair bikes for people, they don't want to be waiting 3 days for their bikes to be fixed. Only reason I've give 2 stars instead of 1 is because of how nice the staff are in there when I go in.

Always delivering great service! and their staff are genuine, friendly and ready to help.
They always have enough people on the shop floor, which makes going there always quick.

The staff are usually very nice and helpful and parts are standard prices however they usually charge quite alot for the labour for example I got a flat tyre while working so I needed it changed quickly which they did no problem however it cost £12 and the inner tube was only £4

Very poor experience every time I go to this shop. Never again. 3 times I've walked into the store at Fountain Bridge in Edinburgh and been ignored or spoken to rudely.
The first time was to buy a bike - ignored. £1,500 sale loss.
Second time a helmet and clothing - ignored / rude. £250 sale loss.
The last time, served by someone who made it very clear they felt I was wasting their time. They took me to the section where the item was I wanted, ripped it off the hook, threw it at me and walked away - bizarre behaviour.
The seem to have mastered how to make customers feel they're an inconvenience.
Good luck Evans , you'll need it.

When I was waiting, many times I been asked if I been served by the others employees.

Lied to by staff at this branch also there Internet site mislead you about next day deliveries when they only have three deliveries a week and even Oscar at their customer services took a day to get in contact with them at Hendon so God help you if you're just a customer would not recommend even in an emergency

Visiting the area. Headed in to Evans with a non-indexing chain set. 15 mins and a professional, courteous, efficient service later, I left with indexing sorted, headset tightened, and brakes recentered. Free. Thanks!

Went in to collect my Brooks saddle today. It was scheduled to arrive at 3pm yesterday but delays can't be helped sometimes. So this afternoon, I rang up to see if it had arrived. It had but I hadn't yet received the email confirming it was ready. I asked if I could come in and collect it anyway and was told that was absolutely fine. But the guy who served me at the till kept making snippy comments to the girl he was training about the email, and how customers should wait for the email etc. He even said to me - as I was leaving with the saddle - that I would now have an email telling me it was ready. Weird! Instead of harping on about the email he should have been enthusing about the saddle - which is absolutely amazing! - but he never even mentioned it. I also had questions I wanted to ask regarding the treatment and fitting of the saddle but to be honest, I felt so uncomfortable I couldn't get out of the shop fast enough!

My girlfriend and I visited this store this evening with the intention of getting her her first road bike, she's just got her cycle to work voucher through and had her eye on a cannondale. Unfortunately after spending longer than 40 minutes in the store before being seen by a member of staff, the service that followed was poor. The young girl the manager assigned to serve us was fairly new to the job and shy, she did seem to know a bit about bikes and tried to find a suitable frame size to try - but put little effort in - asking my partner to try a frame that didn't even have any pedals on. The assistants name was maicie, and although she tried to ask her manager for guidance on questions we had, he didn't offer much support and pretty much blew us off. I could tell that she was frustrated by the lack of assistance from her manager, unfortunately this passed on to her behaviour towards us. Great way to talk yourself out of a sale Evans!! Get some more staff on in busy periods.

Lee and the team gave me outstanding service after i had a bad puncture that burst both my tube and tyre. Advice was great. Service was first class and as is usual for Evans good quality products at a good price. Cheers to the Evans Holborn team!
