Note that this review is more than 6 months old and the company's procedures may have changed considerably since this review was written.
We were quite impressed by the Catalogue. Living in Scotland we were prepared to pay a premium for convenience. Order placed 4th Nov. Confirmation letter received about a week later. Letter also received dated 12th Nov saying that 1 item was out of stock but due 17th Nov (why did it not say that at time of ordering?). Had ordered 5 items. Catalogue does not make clear, but you discover in the Confirmation letter, that gifts can be sent separately. This has meant 3 trips to our Post Office to collect missed items (not what we were expecting). By 5th Dec (Confirmation letter says allow 28 days for delivery) had received 4 of 5 items including the item out of stock till 17th Nov. E-Mailed Company Customer Services on 4th Dec requesting status of last item; response promised after 24hrs - none received. Phoned 0871 number (how much has that cost us!) on 7th Dec to be told final item not being dispatched until week beginning 10th Dec. This will mean item ordered on 4th Nov will not arrive in time to be sent to our friends daughter (overseas). VERY POOR Customer Service. Stick to your Local Shops!!
