There is a reason this website offers products at a cheaper price than anywhere else - the quality of the products is very poor, and the customer service is useless.

I ordered a pack of photos, but before confirming my order, I realised I hadn't entered my full address, so I went back to the beginning of the order process and re-entered my address. On confirming this order, I looked at my account summary and found two orders on my account. The first order had been added to my account even though I didn't confirm it! I contacted mypixmania customer service immediately to let them know the problem, and asked them to cancel the first one. They replied with "the order has already been processed so we cannot cancel it". So I had to pay for the same order twice. Surely if it was a problem with their own system then they could provide a refund for their own mistake.

Then I ordered a glass photo cube, but when I received it, the quality of the photo was appalling. It is so dotted and spaced out that it hardly looks like the photo I submitted. And the photo I gave was 7.2 megapixels, so it wasn't a problem with the photo quality, simply the printing quality from the company.

Finally, I ordered a magic mug. The photo I wanted on the mug had a date printed in the corner which I cropped out using their online personalisation facility. I specifically spent ages doing this, and checked it several times, because I knew I didn't want the date printed on the mug. I received the mug a few days later with the entire photo on the mug, ie. not cropped! So they had made another mistake. I emailed the customer service again and they said that it was my fault, I hadn't cropped the photo and that it's the customer's responsiblity to ensure the cropping is done before ordering. They refused to accept that there had been a problem with their system, and refused to give me any compensation. On top of that, the quality of the mug was poor, with random bumps and lumps on the surface where it should be smooth. Even where the photo is printed, it is bumpy and looks terrible. And still mypixmania could not do anything about it.

Overall I have had terrible experiences with mypixmania and have finally learnt my lesson, and will never shop with them every again. I strongly recommend that whoever reads this does not shop with this website, and spread the word around. Their prices are not great, their delivery costs are high because they are based in France, and the products are poor quality. Also, their customer service is appalling, and the responses (if they respond!) often don't make sense because they are foreign. Please stay away from them!

Do not shop with mypixmania!!!!!

myPixmania offer print packages for digital photographers. You can upload directly onto their web site and maintain your prints in an "album". You may have as many albums as you wish and return to them to order more prints, thus needing to upload only once. Prints are availiable in different sizes, and different optimisation packages are available. Quality is very good, but you do pay more. Turnaround is not so good, myPixmania claim all orders are dealt with within 24hrs, but this is not always the case, I have had an order take more than three days to dispatch.
[Addendum] It is now more than 3 weeks since my last order with Mypixmania. They admit to having lost my order, but have neither refunded nor replaced the lost parcel. They no longer answer my calls and I am seeking legal advice. Its a great pity as the quality was good, but I can no longer recommend this service. Having good quality is only half the equation, having good customer care is the other. My advice is to try somewhere else.
