Terrible experience.
5/12/04 - Ordered 2 items
5/12/04 - Funds taken for almost £300
7/12/04 - Email confirming order but slight delay but will be received within 7 working days.
16/12/04 - Invoice delivered in the post confirming money taken and products ordered
18/12/04 - Receive phone call explaing on item no longer available and would be refunded. Checked website to find 2nd item (Sony T3 camera) has vanished from the website. Phone call confirms nothing except they have taken money, invoiced me and the goods are in a warehouse not linked to customer services or their systems (doesn't sound good) Apparantly they take the money because they 'assume' you will get the goods but if 2 people order at the same time someone might miss out - Complete rubbish. Told to ring back on Tuesday.
21/12/04 Called to find order initially cancelled? But 2nd item had been reserved. Call back in the afternoon for update.
21/12/04 Call back to find nothing has happened except it will now take 7 working days again (ie after Xmas!)
21/12/04 Cancelled order myself but still waiting for refunds from both transactions. (Funny they can withdraw my funds on a Sunday)
Dixons are awful and I do not recommend ever using them. Poor service , badly setup and shocking they can take your money without ever fulfilling the order

On 29/12/03 I ordered goods to the value of £432 online with Dixons.
On 6/01/04 Dixons send me a receipt for the goods I have ordered and now paid for.
On 22/01/04 Dixons send me an e-mail stating that the goods are out of stock and that they have cancelled my order.
29/01/04 I am still waiting for confirmation of my refund.
