Good service from Ravel Shoes in Newcastle

I recently shopped in the Ravel shop in Newcastle upon Tyne and found the service to be of the highest quality.
The assistant who served me on June 24th,and sadly I did not get her name, could not have been more helpful. I was shopping for shoes for the Newcastle Races and she was the slightly older assistant with blonde hair in a bob. Her service and attention was so good that I felt I had to write this letter.

Shocking Customer Service

I have just experienced the worst customer service ever! I was delighted to see a pair of gorgeous sandals in the July issue of Eve Magazine - I found out the sandals were called Rumbada and made by Ravel, Eve Magazine thought they were a bargain at £45 (so did I) as they looked like a pair of Jimmy Choos. As Ravel have no website and there is not a sign of Ravel shoes in Debenhams, I called the main customer service number only to be told I would need to contact the stores directly. Armed with enough telephone numbers to start a new telephone directory I began my hunt. Firstly with Oxford Circus as it's the largest - they said they didn't have any left and couldn't order any. I tried another 2 stores, 1 in particular had the sandals and my size but refused to take payment over the phone or to hold the sandals as the Manager said he had problems in the past with non-payment via credit cards! I explained I would be paying by debit card and would be happy to pay for the postage, but all to no avail. I am very frustrated having seen the sandals in a magazine, taking the trouble to hunt them down and not be able to purchase them - I just find Ravel very inflexible and feel they have a real lack of customer service.

ravel shoes are the best

ravel shoes are the best, all my shoes from there have lasted forever, unlike shoes from other stores which seem to fall a part, before i've taken them out the shoe box. also they are value for money, for example i bought a sliver pair for £55, only to find the exact same pair in LK bennet for just under £100!!!
