went to RI with a friend who wanted to gasp! try something on!! but the woman at the changing room had three mates there and they were all there having a right old chin wag and totally ignored my friend for at least 2 mins! then the women gave her the wrong peg for the amount of clothes (1 for 1 item 2 for 2 etc) and when my friend pointed out that she actually had 2 extra (very visible) items a 3 pegs was rudely shoved in her hand! ok clothes but our local shop (middlesbrough) is staffed by morons

I think there is a good range of clothing on the River Island website, but when I placed my order it took over a week to come and the customer services team were not very helpful when I tried to chase my order. Apart from that I was very pleased with my top and it was available on-line long befre I saw it in any of the shops.

River Island and the like constantly frustrate me when they state that they are making clothes to fit the tall woman. They may make clothes to fit women who have an inside leg an extra inch or so longer than the average, but they do not cater for the tall woman with an inside leg of over 36". Or with arms of longer than average length It irritates me when I specifically ask an internet search engine to find clothes for tall people and companies such as River Island have sponsored the linked result, when they really do not cater for the taller person. They should look at companies like Top Shop and Miss Selfridge who really do cater for the taller person instead of marketing themselves as doing so when they are adding only an inch or so to their standard lengths.
