It is dire and does not deserve anyone’s custom Where to start. I used to work for dialaphone and know that the policies and procedures enforced by directors and managers directly lead to the terrible service most customers’ experience. Staffs are rude, untrained, pressured for time, unvalued and generally not interested in this awful job. The service you get as a customer reflects this. If you buy a phone from these people you will think the service is fine...until something goes wrong or you need to speak to them. It is deliberately difficult to get through to customer services. People deliberately mislead in order to get commission. It is deliberately difficult to get your free gift and redemption – the number if times I told people they couldn’t have money that was ‘owed’ them! Managers treat their staff like scum and that is exactly how most staff then treat customers. Avoid. Please, do not waste your money or this company. Save the time and hassle you will inevitable experience and don’t give them your custom. Instead, start a petition to close the blooming place down. The worst job I ever had. The worst people I ever worked for and the worst treatment of customers I’ve yet experienced. http://www.theukhighstreet.com/perl/review.cgi?ReviewID=2430 http://www.theukhighstreet.com/perl/review.cgi?ReviewID=2430 Tue, 24 Oct 2006 12:00:00 GMT dial a phone by rach234 avoid like the plauge. im on my second phone which broke yesterday i have to pay special delivery to get fixed. and use about half of my 50 texts again to let people know im with out my phone again. asked them if i could just cancel as i dont want a broke phone and they said no way unless i pay o2 a total of £300. i have not heard any one say a good word about dap so why didnt i listen? i have also heard there is alot of problems with the motorola v3 itself so will i have to put up with this for a whole year and keep having to pay the special delivery prices. the best part is when i asked to speak to a manager they said there is no manager i can speak to surely some one must be in charge of that bunch of monkeys. http://www.theukhighstreet.com/perl/review.cgi?ReviewID=2218 http://www.theukhighstreet.com/perl/review.cgi?ReviewID=2218 Fri, 19 Aug 2005 12:00:00 GMT Is it a real company? by shr I found an excellent deal on Dialaphone's website and placed an order, and paid an extra £5 for Saturday delivery. Strangely there was no order confirmation, so I emailed support the next day to get confirmation...no response. Next day I tried calling support, and experienced their fantastic maze of "press 1 if you want this...4 if you want that". It's followed up with a security check that is done by a computer using voice recognition. Smart, except it didn't understand a word I said! I tried emailing again and got no response. Tried calling again...this time (after the maze) I got through to a human! "We're waiting for you to send us proof of address", so why didn't someone ask me for it? I sent proof of address, and waited another week (now nearly 3 weeks since I placed the order). Still no phone. I called support again..."We're waiting for you to send us more proof of address!" I cancelled my order. http://www.theukhighstreet.com/perl/review.cgi?ReviewID=2064 http://www.theukhighstreet.com/perl/review.cgi?ReviewID=2064 Wed, 29 Dec 2004 12:00:00 GMT Used Dialaphone for 2 years, later refused new phone!! by Philtaz I had used Dialaphone twice previously for mobile phones, with no problems. My current contract was up so I asked for an upgrade/new phone. No problem they said but you'll have to have a new contract and new mobile number. A bit of a bind but what the hell? On the day the phone was to be delivered I was contacted by Dialaphone who told me I had been refused by a company called Equifax who are used for credit checking by Vodafone. I was completely shocked as I pointed out I had been using them for two years, so why the sudden problem? What was even more perplexing was the fact that I owe nobody a single penny in this country(or elsewhere), have no overdraft facility through choice , pay any bills on time and have not been overdrawn at any time in my bank for the past 11 years! As a result of serving in HM Forces and having used German finance companies to buy a car and household goods etc I have never had any loan(apart from my mortgage of £45,000)or hire purchase agreement with any company in the UK. I am in full time employment within the NHS and given my bank history, combined with the spending habits of Ebeneezer Scrooge I am still at a loss to explain the decision made by Equifax. I have contacted them and await their reply with baited breath! I later got a phone within 24 hours from a company advertising in the national papers, so where is the logic? Dialaphone and Vodafone will NEVER have my custom nor loyalty ever again in the future! http://www.theukhighstreet.com/perl/review.cgi?ReviewID=1382 http://www.theukhighstreet.com/perl/review.cgi?ReviewID=1382 Sat, 20 Sep 2003 12:00:00 GMT
