smashed and damaged items

Note that this review is more than 6 months old and the company's procedures may have changed considerably since this review was written.
dont use this company they are so unhelpful and abrupt,you are not allowed to talk to anyone other than through on-line chat they are diabolical,they smashed an item and the courier still tried to deliver it,they wouldnt give me there insurance details,wouldnt give me the couriers phone number so i could ask how was the item smashed,use them at your own risk,i checked the tracking system on saturday,and it stated there was a problem with the parcel,that tried to deliver it on the monday,still no contact from them i have to give a rating but there is no zero

Delivery problems or maybe tracking

I am not a person who only writes negative reviews only for the best and worst.
Today I was expecting a parcel from this company and was using the tracking on line. At 10am I was told it was on the van. At 11am I was told it was on the van and at 1pm I was told delivery had failed at 10.40. I contacted parcel 2 .... and they told me that delivery had been attempted and they would reset delivery for tomorrow. Confused I was. At 1.40pm the parcel arrives and I ask the delivery person had she called earlier -- to which she replies No. Now having stayed in for 4 hours with loss of income I was a bit miffed but to be told, at least, an untruth I was angry.
On line with the company agent they did not seem to know what was happening with their tracking system or answer any question about their mishandled delivery and continued to compound the false statements. They knew so little they still wanted to redeliver the parcel the next day!
Some people might think that they were just lying throughout the whole process, nobody knows but if this farce happens to you make your own judgement.

Good cheap service until you need to make a claim, then rubbish, unless you are sending a banjo you are not covered, *** be sure all parcels are marked as contents as banjo ***
