A free trial comes with conditions. You must be aware that 15 prior to expiry of your trial yourun membership will be renewed and payment taken from your bank account. This money is none refundable.
To cancel, you cannot do simply online. You need to ring a premium number mon-fri 9am-5pm to get a cancellation code.
In my experience, I was never sent a membership card, so did not know I had a subscription. GS sent me 1 email (that went to my spam folder) and then took £40 from an expired bank card. They will not refund even though I have never used their service (no where I would go will take it plus vouchers are freely available online for those that do accept the card), they never even sent me a card and I only knew I had a subscription upon payment.
They have been unable to provide me with proof I agreed to their terms and am unable to get a copy ofor original terms agreed to. They will only point me to terms on their website. They have informed me that my original contract was for a free 2 months then an annual fee of £30. They have not yet told me why they have taken £40.
They are not regulated by an official body. They do not follow any ethical procedures for customers. Be careful. If you decide to use their free trial, cancel on day 1 - you can continue to use the trail without a fee being taken. Know your rights before you give your bank details.
