Update from my previous review where i gave 1 star. Beside i could not have the quick start box delivered to the specified address, Cameroon helped me having the box delivered to their store so that i could collect it myself. Well done.

Could not see any accessible parking spaces or anyway to get to the building apart from steps. Disappointed with this from an inclusion point of view as an employee.

They have some really stupid policies. If I used my email address to register for an account on Media, I can't use the same address to register for Mobile. But you find this out after you call them, after spending 30 minutes trying to register and saying that the email is already used and to log in and add the number :)), which just takes you in a loop. When called they say it's for my own security and I should always have a backup email address... I use the same to register on everything. Let's hope these Muppets don't buy another company and I receive an email with the request to set up another email... LE Just set up an account on virgin trains and virgin holidays with the same email.... what a bunch of idiots

Virgin told me I could go there to pick up a Simm card. First time it was shut and 2nd time they said they can't give me a simm because it's just a tiny little kiosk with no equipment to provide simms. Waste of time. Open a proper store or close it down

i am surprised how nice the service was at this shop, you don't see it often. I signed up with Harshneet he was so friendly and really looked after me. The other guy that works there actually made me a cup of tea which was so welcoming.

Companies like Virgin cut every corner they can yet still have the gall to charge for a premium service.

Repeating my address 10 times to the first individual I spoke to as they kept repeating it back wrong, the last thing I checked before ending the original 1.5 hour phone call signing up was that they had the address correct: "I don't mean to sound rude, but please can we check again that you have my address exactly as follows: ...."

I was happy to be patient, even though I was put on hold multiple times for the most basic of questions, provided they got the job done properly in the end...

Feel like an idiot for thinking that now...

One day of waiting in the morning, engineer didn't turn up (given wrong date), one day of waiting in the afternoon, engineer didn't turn up.
Phoned to find out situation (20 min wait to get through to overseas call centre), STILL had wrong address on system, then given details of two of my neighbours payment plans (breach of confidentiality anyone?), to be passed off to another team who hadn't got the slightest clue of my situation.

After reiterating my situation, passed off to another team (2.5 hours to get through to someone who could clearly understand me and my accent is similar to received pronunciation), explained again.

Both of these teams STILL had my address wrong and I had to go through the process of helping them find the skewed address they had on system! This is the problem when you have a low-skilled overseas customer service team, and a local customer service team: a complete failure and breakdown of communication - but the plus side is the top dogs at Virgin get to line their pockets with a few more quid!

5 minutes later they told me the house is not connected and won't be for years. When I looked to lodge a complaint, the representative simply refused: "what do you expect us to do about it?"

Well I don't know, something along the lines of trying to bridge some of bridge/apology for wasting 2/3 days of my time, 3 hours of phone calls for a query that should have been resolved within the first 5 minutes of me giving you my address? Something which is going to make me feel less sour about the fact I cancelled down my previous telephone/internet providing when your colleagues confirmed Virgin would be delivered to my property?

Never again Virgin, you've lost a technologically adept customer for life.

TL:DR: These guys treat their customers like dirt, offer them the worst customer service known to man yet have the gall to try and charge like it's a premium service.

I was with Virgin and was happy up to a point. When I moved home they could not provide the service at my new home. They said I had to pay till the end of contract. I told them I would not. Their answer was "we did not ask you to move". I resorted to the ombudsman and I got my money back. I would not recommend Virgin to anyone. They used to put the price up at least twice a year. The last year I was with them they put it up 4 times.

Very poor response to system faults. Existing cable fault caused us poor service over a two year period. Had to leave and go back to Bt.

Popped in the harrow store today and was greeted by the whole team as I walked by. I was made to feel very welcomed with the friendly conversation. I was with sky but the team informed me of all of the benefits of virgin media and was signed up within 15 minutes by azad. I was offered tea and coffee as I was getting set up and installation within the week. Great service all round
