I was not informed that I was buying standby tickets not confirmed seats on the plane until AFTER the purchase, when i was trying to print off the boarding passes. This causes great distress as my reason for flying was an unexpected bereavement and I needed to be there urgently. I felt to France regularly and have never had this experience with any other airline. The stress this uncertainty cause

Tried to book a C class return flight, was booted out three times. My PA also tried and in the end she had to call AF to be able to book. Happens regularly both with the app and the website. I am Flying Blue for Life customer so tend to be loyal but it is VERY annoying.
