This book sets out, in nineteen chapters , to relate the story of all the tug companies which by liquidation, take over, acquisition or absorption formed the family tree that created the company of Lawson- Batey Tugs Ltd. Covering the years from 1840 to 1990 the book covers each company history with details of the various tugs that were operated, many of which are illustrated with black and white photographs. This copy is in nice clean condition, the dust cover does show a little bumping at the edges.
