Flintstone 2.4 metre table … Chunky and rustic with handmade appeal … There’s something about reclaimed teak that catches the eye and stands out from the crowd. And the Flintstone 2.4 metre reclaimed teak dining table takes it one step further with lovely round legs specially cut from individual teak tree branches in contrast with the straighter cut lines of the 4.5cm thick table top. The table is also finished with a light black wash that further highlights the grain. It really is totally bespoke and unique – definitely a little something different for your outdoor space ... Teak at a glance … This timber is well known for its superior qualities when compared with other timbers for outdoor use. The dense grain and high natural oil content make it supremely workable and offer natural protection against the elements all year round making the likelihood of cracking or splitting very unlikely indeed. These natural qualities also protect against fungal and insect attack. The great thing about reclaimed teak is that the ageing process has already taken effect meaning the silver-grey patina of aged teak is already present which simply adds to the bespoke appeal.
