132pp, hardback with dust jacket - DJ has some surface marks and scuffing. Edges bumped/creased but no tearing. Black cloth-covered boards, title embossed in white on front and spine. Bumped edges at bottom near spine, some surface scuffing. Dirty marks (coffee stains?) on both endpapers. Binding fairly tight throughout and square, but flying part of front endpaper is mis-aligned and becoming detached at bottom. Pages are mostly clean and bright, but some pages have greasy thumb marks on lower right-hand corner - Text is in Italian throughout, with high-quality b/w photographic plates - Title translates as "The 'La Bussola' Group and Aspects of Italian Photography in the Post-War Period" - 'La Bussola' (from the Italian word for 'compass needle') were a distinguished group of pioneering photographers, including Giuseppe and Emanuele Cavalli, Luigi Veronesi, Mario Finazzi, Ferrucio Leiss, Ermano Marelli, Federico Vender, a.o. This book is a catalogue of works exhibited at the Museo di Storia della Fotografia Fratelli Alinari in Florence in 1997.
