A rare opportunity to purchase a collectable, vintage, pure silk dress from the late Queen's designer, Hardy Amies, Savile Row. The fabric has a beautiful soft feel and is textured with a delicate white and black floral print over a bright green colour. The dress has a well fitted bodice with a curved low waist band at the front over a full skirt. The short sleeves are slightly gathered and the dress is fastened with a concealed zip and hook at the back with a detachable buckled belt. The dress has thin shoulder pads and the bodice of the dress and sleeves are lined in white. There is some mild discolouration on the belt's buckle and some of the lining inside (see photo) but otherwise the dress is in excellent condition and shows some beautiful needlework.
