Lovely vintage dress from the designer brand Hardy Amies. Sir Edwin Hardy Amies KCVO was an English fashion designer, founder of the Hardy Amies label and a Royal Warrant holder as designer to Queen Elizabeth II. This pretty dress is a simple yet classy straight shape with a shirt like top section. The dress is fully lined and has a belt at the waist to create a gorgeous shape. It is black and white with peach pink designs all over. The dress has long sleeves with a large black button on each cuff. The silk material is soft and light and shows the quality of the dress. There is small shoulder pads which are fitting with the age of the dress. The main body is 100% silk while the lining is made from 100% viscose. The dress is recommended dry clean only. A size 12 which measures 43"/109cm length 36"/92cm chest 18"/46cm inside arm. A great chance to own a classic, high quality vintage piece.
