Hope Race X2 Standard Organic Disc Brake Pads have a softer braking sensation, are silent in wet conditions and put less thermal stress on the brake. They do wear faster and provide less braking power than sintered brake pads.The organic brake pads produced from approximately 20 different carbon compounds and a heat-resistant resin. In contrast to the sintered metal pads are organic coverings, considerably softer and generate less heat. Thus, the organic coatings are optimal for small slices and lighter riders. Another advantage is, squeak the organic coatings in the wet less.Therefore, you should choose the organic deposits, if you do not need maximum, long-lasting braking performance and preferably small slices are driving.
