Merchant's Category: Media> Books
Le Journal de la jeunesse was an illustrated French weekly aimed at wealthy children aged 10 to 15. The publishers Hachette launched the weekly in 1873 and it continued until the beginning of the Great War in 1914. The journal had a mix of educational articles (covering science, history, geography and archaeology) and fictional stories, the latter also illustrated with engravings. The books are only suitable as reading copies, with obvious signs of wear on the external covers. Internally some of the pages have folds a minor tears but are in good condition, with the main body of text readable, a secure binding and clear illustrations.
