Queen Victoria's Highland Home and Vicinity by Alex. Inkson M'Connochie, illustrations by G. & W. Morgan. The Queen's Jubilee was celebrated in 1887 with unparalleled rejoicings. That Providence has spared Her Majesty to commemorate her "Diamond" Jubilee is a subject of the deepest gladness throughout the whole Empire - a joy which will, doubtless, be shared in by all the nations of the earth. At such a time, therefore, it is only fitting that Aberdeen should, apart from its beneficent schemes, produce an appropriate artistic memento of the auspicious occasion, and this, it is hoped, the present work will supply. Good condition. Heavy shelf marks at the cover board but the pages inside remain clean with slight very light sunning. Title embossed in gold on the cover.
