The brand-new Rossignol Forza 50deg V-Cam is the ultimate choice for skiers who crave all-day carving performance without the burn. With a sporty feel that effortlessly carves hard pistes like it's on rails, this ski is surprisingly not tiring or hard work. The V-shaped carbon laminate provides incredible strength along its length while remaining forgiving torsionally, making turning a breeze. And with the Carbon Alloy Matrix, you get the best of both worlds - the pop and lightness of carbon combined with the power and dampening of metal. Experience the unique combination of strength, stability, and agility that the Forza 50deg V-Cam offers and unleash your inner thrill-seeker on the slopes. Terrain Type & Ability Level Terrain Type A dependable piste ski that offers a really solid ride, even when tackling rough patches on the slopes at pace. It's a great choice for those of you who love skiing and have good technical skills, but prefer a slightly more forgiving feel in and out of the turn compared to top end piste skis. Whether you enjoy cruising down the smooth blue runs or taking on some slightly trickier black slopes, this ski has got the edge hold, easy handling, control and performance you need to ski any slope how you want. Skier Type It's a solid choice for powerful skiers with good piste prowess, offering a well-balanced mix of power and reliable edge grip. Perfect for those skiers who enjoy cruising down groomed trails at a brisk pace while confidently nailing those snappy turns or opening it out for some GS style carves. Overview Shape Built on the same Forza shaping throughout the range, Rossignol's SuperSize Sidecut uses oversized dimensions for what they call 'power steering' but in a slightly softer more user friendly package and a slightly narrower tip for a little more relaxed feel into the turn. Simply tilt the skis, and they turn effortlessly with their 12m radius (164cm) and transitioning edge-to-edge is a breeze, thanks to the narrow, yet steady 75mm waist. This means your rarely want to keep the skis flat and have you grinning from one turn to the next. Rocker Piste rocker utilises tip rocker. Traditional camber along 95% of the ski's length, providing explosive power, snap, and excellent edge grip. Additionally, it features a subtle 5% tip rocker to enhance the ease of turn initiation and control. Core The PEFC poplar wood core ensures a good balance of dampness, elasticity and weight savings. This is combined with V-Titanal to provide extra dampening and control. Construction Rectangular Full Sidewall - a 90 degree full sidewall construction features a horizontal layering of core materials. This design delivers optimized edge grip, precision, balance, and power. Key Features V-Carbon Alloy Matrix A 'V' shaped stamp runs along the new V-Carbon Alloy Matrix (CAM) layer, delivering a perfect balance of flex to maintain the ideal line in challenging conditions. The CAM fiber ensures power, vibration absorption, and edge grip, while the groove along the sheet guarantees stiffer longitudinal bending whilst allowing more torsional for a forgiving feel too. Oversized Sidecut Combining deep carving sidecuts with wider, modern waist widths, Rossignol's Oversize sidecut delivers powerful carving precision and edge grip with increased stability and control. EB tester's comments: Alex (Milton Keynes) A surprisingly fun piste ski that will charge when you want it to but is mellow enough not to completely knock the wind out of your sails. The pop from edge 2 edge was unreal, very surprising and positive. Ellis Brigham was born in 1933, the brainchild of Frederick Ellis Brigham, who set up business making cycling shoes and walking boots in a tiny 'two up, two down' building on the outskirts of Manchester.

After the war, as mountain walking and climbing became more and more popular, the shop began to sell ex-WD climbing equipment and Brigham's boots with their special nailing patterns became very sought after.

Fast forward almost 80 years and Ellis Brigham now has 24 shops across the UK and a leading website, making it the UK's premier retailer for ski hardware, mountaineering equipment and outdoor clothing.
