The Shire Loft Playhouse is a large structure that will keep the kids occupied for hours. Adults will enjoy the interior, which has an abundance of natural light, plenty of play space, and safety features as standard. This playhouse comes with four large windows and two window boxes as standard, with the option to add more. It also has a beautifully traditional single door with a diamond porthole window and classic fixings. The doors and windows of the playhouse have safety hinges to keep little fingers safe, and all of the windows are glazed with environmentally friendly shatter resistant styrene, a safer alternative to glass. Shire is constantly striving to provide the highest quality playhouses. The Loft is made of high-quality shiplap pine in a sturdy tongue and groove construction, which keeps it better sealed from the elements and gives it a nice look. The floor is also constructed with tongue and groove cladding, which increases its water resistance and durability. The timber used is a slow-grown continental timber that has a tighter grain, greater strength, and a longer life than the fast-grown timber used on cheaper playhouses from other manufacturers. This is one of the most affordable two-story playhouses available. The Shire playhouse includes a dip-treated base coat as standard, with a top coat available as an option for a stronger, golden brown finish. Because the Loft Playhouse does not come pre-painted, it is a blank canvas for you to personalise according to your children's preferences. To prevent weathering and thus extend the life of the playhouse, the manufacturer recommends applying a water-based top coat of your choice. The Shire Loft Playhouse comes flat-packed to make handling and assembly easier. The price includes all fittings and felt, as well as clear, easy-to-follow instructions; however, assembly is optional.
