Book by Robert L. Wallace, third edition published by L. Upcott Gill, London in 1892. vi, 208 pages total plus 12 pages of publishers advertisements at the back. b/w illustrations throughout. Book is in Fair condition. Red leather boards with gilt on front and spine. Some marks to both boards, all corners fairly bumped. Some dents and wear to top and bottom edges of both boards. Spine is sunned, heavy wear and material missing from head and tail (See picture 3). Spine is also cocked. Foxing present to fore and bottom edges of text block. Heavy foxing and some tanning to inner pages, further amounts present throughout text. Very loose binding and gutter breaks present also. Clearly a very well used book.
