The Great Society: A Psychological Analysis
Merchant: Oxfam
Merchant's Category: Media> Books
Graham Wallas (1858-1932) was a social psychologist and socialist, co-founding the London School of Economics. This volume is his analysis on contemporary society, discussing the effect of the Industrial Revolution and the 'Great Society', as in the modern industrialised state, on the modern psyche. The book is split into two halves, the first covering core bases of social psychology in the 'Great Society', and the latter half discussing organisation and structures. The book is a valuable insight into social psychology and socialist analysis during the height of direct colonialist imperialism in Europe. The book itself is in good condition, there is some shelf-wear to the cover, and foxing to pages towards the front and rear, but it is a clean and clear copy internally, perfect as a reading or reference copy.
