The North-east: The Land And Its People
Merchant: Oxfam
Merchant's Category: Media> Books
This book is an accompaniment to the Aberdeen Loan Exhibition 1929, an exhibition created with the intent to test the idea of founding an Aberdeen Regional Museum focused on the North-East of Scotland (the Aberdeen Regional Museum was indeed founded in 1937, and continued to 1975). This book includes many of the exhibits and talks at the event, with topics ranging from museums and their social good, to exhibits on the natural history of the region, the forestry, and wildlife, amongst others. A fascinating book for historians and enthusiasts of the Aberdeen region. The book itself is in god condition, though it has accrued some shelf-wear to the cover over the decades, it is still a good copy, with clean, clear, pages and a tigt binding.
