The Place At Brook Street
Merchant: Oxfam
Merchant's Category: Media> Books
The Place was the name given in early Tudor times to the timber-framed house which existed on a moated site in the tiny hamlet of Brook Street, near Brentwood in Essex. Occupation of the site has probably existed since the late 12th Century. This is a beautifully illustrated book detailing the history of Marygreen Manor Hotel, formerly known as The Moat House, in pictures, photographs and words. The book is in excellent condition throughout. The dust jacket is slightly worn with age but all inside pages are clean.
