Wireless Door Alert designed to monitor a closed door being opened, supplied with: 1 x Battery Powered Wireless Door Contact. 1 x Wireless Chime Receiver powered by a Plug in USB Cable (with 35 optional chimes & volume control). In the event of the Door being opened, the Internal Receiver will chime on the chosen sound (35 options) and at the adjusted volume. Additional Door Contacts can be added including the standard 300 metre model (004-2820) supplied within this kit or the long range 700 metre Solar Powered model (004-3800). Door Contact: The wireless operating range between the Door Contact and Receiver is 300 metres (line of sight) which equates to around 100 - 150 metres in most applications, this can be increased up to 900 metres and by adding a Signal Repeater (004-2910). The Magnetic Door Contact is powered by 2 x AAA batteries which would last between 1 - 2 years in most applications. They are fitted using double sided tape and a couple of small screws in some applications,
