This is a gorgeous handmade wedding dress, dating from the 1920s. The customer who very kindly donated it to us said that it was her mothers and that she was married in the mid 1920s. It is long sleeved and each sleeve is slightly ruched. The sleeves have 2 catches to fasten them, just above the hem. The neckline is round, and there is a beaded detail around the waist. It fastens at the side with further catches. The material feels like Velvet. There is a hand sewn label inside that says "Stearn". Measurements: Bust: 36" Length: 53" Waist: 28" It comes with a floral headpiece, with white flowers. This dress is in fair condition for its age. It has staining to the front, back, and inside, especially the lower portion of the dress. The inside of the neckline has been slightly worn away. It is still remarkably well preserved given its age, and is a beautiful dress.
