Very poor customer service. Staff don't pay attention and have poor product knowledge. Why have these people? You're better off on-line.

When you just want to browse the staff are crawling all over you, then when you want to purchase something you can't find anyone.

I had never given a single star to any other place in my life even to a restaurant when and where I was served the food I didn't like but today it wasn't hard to convince myself that I had to be less generous and incline myself more towards the negative side because what I went through today was the WORST customer service in my life so far.

I went to the store to collect my reserved item, the lady at the counter tells me to ask the staff from the item's specific department for guidance. I encountered this person called DWAYNE, I don't care if he is a manager or an employee, he was talking to someone else when I first saw him, I just waited for my turn and he was unnecessarily alarmed by my presence as if I am trying break his convo and perhaps do some eavesdropping and harshly turns back and says "I am with the customer...", I was like, it's fine, I'll wait and honestly I wouldn't have written this negative review if he had returned to me with a good mood after his convo but no he didn't, in fact he made some excuse to avoid talking to me and really he wasn't doing anything much, he completely ignored me. You idiot, I was there to buy stuff not to waste my OWN time trying to chat with morons like you. Honestly, l was completely isolated in the shop despite the shop having reasonable number of employees. Then an other employee helped me through.

Seriously my first and worst experience with Currys. I am pretty sure not every showroom will be the same but honestly I would never ever return to this showroom again.

The truth is, I wasn't treated like a customer, I never had such experience in my life, way back in India or Australia.

Went exclusively to buy £330 bose headphones, the manager was completely unprepared and didn't do anything to let me try them because they had no cable and the headphones was keep connecting to an iphone in the store.

The manager was also annoyed that I was asking for help.

Probably the worst store experience they could deliver.

Give this experience to 2 more customers and you just lose £1000. Suggest a proper supervisor.

Bought 2 TV's from here this week, 32" LG on Tuesday and 49"LG today. Tuesdays purchase went well as I had no need for interaction with any staff members....In the box were an assortment of screws to mount the TV to the wall. Great. The 49" is a totally different story. At the point of sale I was told there was a 4 year warranty with this model with the product. Called Currys this morning as no info regarding this with TV and told no it isnt. Called LG, same story just 12 months. Also no mounting screws in the box for wall mounting. Assumption made that they were missing so I called the helpline who clearly stated that if I went back to the store I would be given some. Incidentally, I had explicitly stated it needed wall mounting as this is on a "floating wall" in the living room, wall mounted with all the cables hidden. They can only stick to a script so all I got was sales rubbish about insurance and cables. Not "Ahh well in that case you may ned a different wall bracket and do you have the appropriate mounting components, like any half intelligent person would have said. When I returned to the store after a hours round trip in rush hour admittedly I was not best pleased. This was escalated by the statement " it doesn't come with the screws, you need to buy a mounting bracket" I responded with "I have a mounting bracket but I need LG screws. The reply was. Well they would have come with the bracket ( its 8 years old) you have obviously lost them, that's your fault you will have to go to screwfix!!!! Lets not even go to - what about the warranty if I have a mishap with incorrect screws bougt at Screwfix - Eventually the manager intervened who showed limited desire to help but thought he should, in my opinion. He showed me the correct size screws and asked if I was now sufficiently capable of going to Screwfix. If it hadn't been rush hour and needing a new TV I would have returned the thing and Tuesdays purchase and demanded my money back. My daughter needs a laptop for school which we will get her for Christmas. Guess where I am NOT buying it from. Bored mindless people selling the contents of cardboard boxes with neither the will or aptitude to even consider what the customer may really need. The products are great by the way. Pity they are tarnished by an appalling sales experience. The screws were £2.08 from B&Q. Was it really worth hacking a customer off that much for less than a coffee at Costa?????

Went in twice today and was ignored both times by the staff. I was looking at buying a tv and spent 15 mins surrounded by staff that showed no interest in dealing with me, complained to the management hopefully service will improve

I used to be able to try a huge range of headphones before I bought them. Not anymore. This was the only reason to go to their shop instead of buying online.

Also, do your own research before you go.

I called to the Currys/Carphone Warehouse this morning. My mobile phone has been on it's last legs for a while but it contained some incredably important photo's as well as a video taken of my son just a few weeks before he passed away. I was terrified that buying a new handset would mean I loose these. NO, the young man, the samsung expert, managed to transfer all my data to my new handset and I cannot praise his patience enough xx Thank you young man for enabeling this older lady to keep her memories with her xxx Customer service over and above what I expected xxx

I'm going down to this store tomorrow to purchase a microwave but these very negative reviews are making me wonder is it worth it? Do the managers/directors read their own reviews as I would be really worried if it were me and would do something about it. Retail stores can't just rely on the fact they're a chain store in the fast-paced competitive climate that it is these days!
