Worst customer service ever - genuine leather was fake!
Note that this review is more than 6 months old and the company's procedures may have changed considerably since this review was written. Bought a hand bag online that was described as being genuine leather. After having used it for a week, I discover that it is made of fake leather - I can´t stand cheap fake leather bags! To be absolutely sure, I took it to a leather specialist and let him cut a small hole in the lining so he can see the back side of the "leather" - it is fake leather.
I then contact Urban Outfit's customer service online, and explains everything. But they refuse to accept a return because the bag now has been âdamagedâ with the hole in the lining. I explain again that the bag already had been used for a week so they could not put it up for sale again anyway - they donât care.
I got no excuse or anything else for the mistakes they've made, even though they now have changed the description of the text on their website.
