I ordered a set of lingerie in the sale in early January and payment has been taken. On 15th January the parcel has yet to arrive. The tracking information suggests UPS picked it up but was unable to carry out the delivery and has returned it to the warehouse in Belgium. Please help. I assume it is Brexit regulations that have caused the problem. The first time your excellent service has failed

Setting up a new cloud server takes seconds. As they come with a month free and no minimum term I tried one out for a few days and then checked that I could really cancel it with no consequences. Unfortunately I did have to speak to someone on the phone (freephone or call back) - I would much prefer to do everything online, but the process was easy and the cancellation email came through immediately. If you want a cheap server and can set it up yourself, this seems like a great value option.

Please, please, please do NOT waste your money with this appalling excuse for a 'company', all of the negative reviews on this site are absolutely accurate and I believe all of the positive 'customer testimonials' left on the 'Gardening Express' website were probably written either by people who work for the company, or friends and family of those who work for the company. I only wish I had done a bit of research on 'Gardening Express' before placing an order with them via Groupon (which by the way must be the only way these con artists drum up any business whatsoever). I placed an order for 6 Hebe Evergreens via Groupon and paid 24.99 for these plants (that apparently had an original value of 74.95) what an absolute joke! 5 instead of 6 very sorry looking, sparse plants arrived some 11 days after placing my order, looked absolutely nothing like expected, and were half dead! These plants were in terrible condition, however looking at the state of the battered and torn box they arrived in, this didn't come as a surprise. Alarm bells should've rung out loud when I contacted 'Gardening Express' via telephone 10 days after placing my order to find out when my order was to be dispatched, after having heard nothing from them or Groupon about my order. I got through to somebody who sounded like they had no idea what they were talking about and someone who also was rather rude! This was simply supposed to be a straightforward call to find out when my order would be dispatched- I don't think it's unreasonable to call to enquire over a dispatch date some 10 days after placing an order, having heard nothing. Although, looking at the other reviews on here, it seems that's a very short period of time, when there is clearly people on here that have been waiting months and months for their order from Gardening Express, and still received nothing. When I called Gardening Express they couldn't give me a definitive answer as to when my order would be dispatched, I kept being told I was going to be put on hold, but was actually transferred from advisor to advisor, before finally speaking to a gentleman (named Nigel) who told me (and I quote verbatim) to "simmer down"! Not quite the customer service one might expect. Although he was extremely rude and patronising he was able to give me a definitive answer as to when my order would be despatched... The order arrived the day after in the aforementioned state. Once again I got onto the phone to 'Gardening Express', trying to explain the state of what I had received. The individual I spoke to (Chantel) clearly couldn't be bothered listening to what I had to say and was extremely rude to me before hanging up on me! In absolute disbelief, I called straight back to speak to a 'Manager', and I use that term very loosely, for he behaved nothing like a manager, his name was Chris- he wouldn't listen to me at all, kept interjecting, was also very rude, then also hung up on me! I was nothing but pleasant and polite on the telephone, and in no way aggressive or acting in a manner that might warrant this sort of response. I got off the phone in absolute disbelief! Not only at the shoddy, substandard products that had arrived, but at the way I'd been spoken to by not just one, but ALL of the advisors at Gardening Express, I cannot believe that anyone would speak to customers the way these guys do, but that is Gardening Express, they are obviously a complete sham of an outfit, and seem set up only to rip people off. I have got nowhere complaining to them, so have escalated the matter with Groupon, and I am also beginning legal proceedings against Gardening Express, out of sheer principle. Gardening Express should not be allowed to treat people in the way they do, and send out absolutely sub standard products, but if more people don't do something about this they will continue to trade, and rip people off, DON'T let it happen to you- these people are the rudest, most incompetent bunch of idiots I have ever dealt with- please believe the negative reviews you have read, these rogue traders will cause you a lot of heartache. I am only glad I spent a small amount of money with them and thankfully not hundreds of pounds like some of the poor reviewers on here. Take heed.

I purchased a set of bay trees towards the end of summer. They arrived quickly and were in excellent condition.

The discription on the website is accurate and the delivery driver was extremely friendly.

I recently bought a Nabru sofa and I have have it for nearly 3 weeks now. My overall impression of the company is very good from start to finish! The website is easy to use and I liked the design your own tool, which allowed me to make the most of the space in my small appartment. I didnt know which fabrics to choose from so called up the service team and they sent me out some free samples, the lady was very helpful. The best thing about this company is the speed of delivary and the sofa quality! From the day I placed my order I was sat on it in front of the tv in 3 days..! Amazing really! I thought it would normally take months for a sofa to be made and delivered!!

I would definitely recommend Nabru

About as close to fraud as you can get. The email to which I foolishly responded offered "Stately 'Tree' Delphiniums - they grow and bloom every year, and will be delivered in bud right now, and bursting into bloom. Large plants, with multiple towers of flowers".
What I got, after a wait of 5 weeks instead of the 3 to 5 days promised was dried up little plants with a few inches of growth showing and of course not a flower in sight.
Web site and telephone systems appear to be deliberately set up so you can't contact them, and they don't reveal their email address.
Avoid at all costs.

First up, I know I should have checked the internet first to see what reputation they have, but as this was from a deal (5 fruit trees for 20) on groupon or something, I didn't check in advance.

They set a delivery timescale, so I checked and it still showing processing after their initial delivery date. Contacted to ask when they would be delivering, and they said (all via website) end of the week. On Thursday, I checked on the delivery agent's site and it showed they were still awaiting receipt of the trees from Gardening Express. Next day it shows them as still waiting, but they eventually went out.

They arrived after 6pm Friday in a 12"x12"x66" cardboard box. I went to the van thinking that there was another four boxes, but no: all the trees were in the same box. Two of the trees (I say trees, they looked like sticks) had broken branches at the top where they'd been forced in as the box was shorter than they were.

There was a plastic bag tied to the bottom with about 1/2lb of fine dry soil in it, and a hole where one of the roots was sticking through. The "instructions" advised me to keep the roots and the soil damp, shame they hadn't bothered following them themselves.

I then tried to contact them to complain about the state of the product and the packaging, which is where my problems really began.

Their website - which is the ONLY way you can contact them for any customer service issue (the phone number reads out recorded information) - has had problems every single day this week when I've tried to view/update/add customer service tickets.

From the occasional time I can get it to work, it seems that they have still not replied to my mail of 14th April so I don't know what they're planning on doing regarding the damaged trees, and I can't send them back without raising a ticket with them and paying for the postage in the vain hope I get replacement trees (a refund would probably be less than any p&p costs I incur).

Avoid - unless you happen to live near Chelmsford (where I believe they're based) and can go round [edited] if you want to "speak to" someone.

Don't want to sound like a moaner but please read this before you purchase anything.

I bought a pine bed from this company online and from the picture on the website it looked like a dark brown bed - perfect!

The delivery time was accurate and it arrived as promised after the delivery people called my mobile and I got someone to be there when they delivered. The bed turned out to be orange...nothing like the picture. I called to complain at once and organised a refund and was told I would have to pay 40 for collection. After much hassle back and forth I accepted that 40 may be deducted from my refund, but that it wouldn't if indeed the bed was a different colour.

We organised the collection and I was under the assumption they would call my mobile like they had done on delivery. No mobile call came at which point I called them to find out that the delivery guys had come and gone and not taken the bed! I called up and was told that I would have to pay 40 there and then for collection. I just wanted to get the bed out of the house so agreed and paid. At no point was I told that I would still be charged for the failed collection. The bed was picked up, but then I found out I had been charged 80 for both collections!

They also say that the colour is correct online. I think whoever looked at the bed is colour blind. It could not be more different from the picture. The company have refused to budge, their T&C's very unclear and ambiguous, and I am 80 out of pocket for a bed that was the wrong colour in the first place! Bed star take no responsibility and I feel I was set up from the start when they did not call me, as if they knew they could charge me double. They have been rude and treated me with nothing bu contempt when I tried to complain.

This is their stance on their online chat that they cut me off from: "Do think it is fair that we should pay our delivery company two charges to rectify something that is not our fault? I don't." - Well they sent me a different colour bed and didn't call me to collect, is it their fault? Yes, I think it is.

I placed an order with this company 6.3.11. Although as yet I have not received the plants, money was taken from my account 8.3.11. Telephone calls are NEVER answered and they do not accept emails. Eventually I found the 'support ticket' facility. I received a reply informing me the plants would arrive at the end of March. The website is complicated - I have been unable to get to 'my accout' or to find details of my order. Having read the comments of others, sadly too late, I believe this set up should be taken to task.

Airline lost my luggage for 5 days. Had to spend about 100 euro on clothes and essentials until my bag was returned (HALF what was allowed under my cover). My spare insulin was in my main bag. When my main supply failed, I had to go to hospital in Greece to get a new batch.
Back in London, I was told (BY THEIR SUPPORT LINE) to submit 2 claims, 1 for essentials and 1 for medic cover under the same policy. They rejected the medical claim (full doctor + medial receipts) saying it was my fault for not having a spare set (IN MY LOST BAGS!!) ... as for the essentials claim, 3 weeks later I got a letter saying Im suppose to claim from the airline first, then from them. Also, that the receipt for a backpack to hold all my new clothes (18 euro) and a receipt for underwear (5 euro) was missing. Funny, because they were the top 2 receipts sent back in the envelope, proving that not only do they not honour their policies, they actually cant read. STAY AWAY!!! COMPLEYELY DISINGENUOUS, UNHELPFULL and in the end, COPLETELY USELESS AND A WASTE OF TIME AND MONEY.

We wanted a quality glasshouse in which we could include a partition to have part greenhouse and part conservatory. Looking at three vendors - two national and one local, Hartley Botanic came out top in terms of look and value for money. We visited two reference installations in our area and the materials used - glass, metalwork and even the gaskets used to install the glass were first class. The final stamp of approval was from the people whose Hartley glasshouses we visited who praised both the sales team and their installation teams.

We went ahead with our order. The sales process was very smooth with Hartley suggesting we hold off from ordering a complete set of blinds from them as we may not need them all.

Even though we had to move the installation date three times due to a combination of bad weather delaying the site preparation and our builder putting the entrance in the retaining base wall in the wrong place (thank heaven I did a final check against the drawings Hartley Botanic provided!) Hartley could not have been more helpful. To help us get back on track they had two installation teams assemble the glasshouse in double quick time and all the guys could not have been more helpful and professional and tidied up so well that we had friends around the same evening to christen the conservatory section and to toast the health of the whole Hartley Botanic team.
