Jane Norman Returns Policy

I spend a fortune in Jane Norman at Bull Ring Birmingham when I visit every couple of weeks.
Last week I purchased a top which was half price and when I got it home it was far too tight so tried to return it but was told you have to exchange for another item, you cannot even have a credit note.
I spent about an hour in the store trying to find something I didn't really want, in the end I was forced to choose a white top which I'm not over keen on.
I shall not be shopping at Jane Norman again, they don't deserve customers with a returns service like this.
