This Mid-Eighties product was released on the "Norwegian Composers" series, of the ever-popular "Polygram" label The music was composed by the Italian-born composer (he became a naturalized Norwegian in 1967 although, by then, he had been living in Norway for more than ten years), Antonio Bibalo (1922-2008, almost a quarter-century after this product was released). The libretto was based on the "Ghosts" family-drama novel by the Norwegian legend Henrik Ibsen, which he had completed approximately a century before this opera's premiere ... Disc One :- Side One : Act I part 1 (19:02). Side Two : Act I part 2 (29:13). Disc Two :- Side One : Act II part 1 (18:48). Side Two : Act II part 2 (28:39). Disc Three :- Side One : Act III part 1 (20:06). Side Two : Act III part 2 (18:49). (Photos Two to Four : First sides of Discs 1-3.
