Sketches of the history of Christendom for boys and girls who have been held at its fonts. This is the third edition authored by John Ruskin, LL.D, D.C.L. This edition differs in that Chapter 1 has, for convenience of reference in the Index, been divided into numbered sections, and the references are throughout to the section of each chapter, and not to the page. This edition contains four chapters, including By the Rivers of Waters, Under the Drachenfels, The Lion Tamer, and Interpretations. Appendix I consists of a chronological list of principal events referred to in the " Bible of Amiens". Appendix II gives references explanatory of photographs to Chapter IV. And Appendix III gives a general plan of "Our Fathers Have Told Us". Book is in overall good condition. Some of the pages have a bit of foxing and the front cover has some very mild marking.
