'The King's England: Kent' by Arthur Mee, Hodder and Stoughton (Seventh impression October 1949) This item is a book called "The King's England: Kent - The Gateway of England and its Great Possessions", and it's written by Arthur Mee, who edited 41 Volumes ("Kent" included) of this "New Domesday Book of 10,000 Towns and Villages". "The King's England: Kent" includes 400 Places and 226 Pictures. The book is published by Hodder and Stoughton Limited, St. Paul's House E.C.4, and it is the Seventh impression published in October 1949, following its first publishing in November 1936. In terms of condition, this book is in fair condition. The pages are all intact though have gone brown with age, not to mention brown stains featured, particularly on the sides of the pages. This book also contains remnants of what appears to be a previous dust jacket, though only the front and back of the dust jacket are still intact, with the rest presumably torn and lost forever. Oxfam Books and Music Dorchester attempts to list items accurately but as a used item this may benefit from a professional clean.
