'William Augustus, Duke of Cumberland: His Early Life and Times (1721-1748)' (1913 book) This item is a book published by Edward Arnold in 1913 called 'William Augustus, Duke of Cumberland: His Early Life and Times (1721-1748)'. It is written by the Hon. Evan Charteris, Follow of the Royal Historical Society and Author of "Affairs of Scotland, 1744-46". Illustrations are also featured. The other side of the book's very first page has an inscription in blue pen dated from Easter 1953, to E. Cumberland Eng. and by Holy Trinity Fairfax. The very back of the book has an inscribed note in pencil, which maybe an old fashioned price. This item is in fair condition. Pages, though intact, have browned with age, some are not 100% attached. Hardback cover is also intact, though scuffs and a tear in the top right corner of the spine is present. Oxfam Books and Music Dorchester attempts to list items accurately but as a used item this may benefit from a professional clean.
