William Preston and His Work by Colin Dyer, published by Lewis Masonic 1987. The Collected Prestonian Lectures Volume Three 1975-1987 published by Lewis Masonic in1988. William Preston (7 August 1742 - 1 April 1818) printer for Walter Ruddiman, Thomas' brother. In 1760 he moved to London and started a distinguished career with the printer William Strahan. He became a Freemason, instituting a system of lectures of instruction. Two volumes in good used condition. Some minor marks to boards.
