From Wikipedia: "The Magazine of Art was an illustrated monthly British journal devoted to the visual arts, published from May 1878[1] to July 1904 in London and New York City by Cassell, Petter, Galpin & Co. It included reviews of exhibitions, articles about artists and all branches of the visual arts, as well as some poetry, and was lavishly illustrated by leading wood-engravers of the period such as William Biscombe Gardner." This is a beautifully bound and illustrated collection of articles from the magazine in 1890. This copy is in good condition considering it's age. The cover and spine have light edgewear but have retained their gold leaf details. There are some small blue marks (paint?) on the front cover around the word "magazine." The pages are all present and correct. They are in good order with no spotting. A very nice, good quality collectors piece, reference or coffee table book.
