The Municipal house in Prague opened in 1912, this book was published to celebrate the 100 years of rich history since. Split into four 'seasons': 'Winter' explores the context of 1912 in Czech history and also discusses the history of architecture; 'Spring' is focused on the Municipal House itself, its decoration and the exhibitions it held; 'Summer' focuses on art history and an international perspective; and 'Autumn' is devoted to Czech literature of the 20th century, including Franz Kafka amongst others. The book itself is in great condition, thought there are some marks and worn edges on the outside cover, internally it is clean and clear and ready - and the over 400 images are rendered gorgeously. __________ Obecni dum v Praze byl otevren v roce 1912, tato kniha byla vydana k oslave 100 let od teto udalosti. Jde o mozaikovy pokus o prehled pozoruhodnych udalosti roku 1912, o kulturnim pozadi Obecniho domu a jeho miste v historii, rozdeleny do ctyr rocnich obdobi. Zima zkouma kontext roku 1912 v ceskych dejinach a pojednava take o dejinach architektury; ,,Jaro" se vice zameruje na samotny Obecni dum, jeho vyzdobu a vystavy, ktere porada; 'Leto' se zameruje na dejiny umeni a mezinarodni perspektivu a 'Podzim' je venovano soucasne literature, vcetne Franze Kafky. Kniha samotna je ve skvelem stavu, i kdyz na vnejsi obalce jsou nejake stopy a opotrebovane okraje, uvnitr je cista, jasna a pripravena - a vice nez 400 obrazku je vykresleno nadherne.
