All you need to do is set it up (assembly instructions included), get a warm drink, and sit by the fire. How to Correctly Display Your Christmas Tree Branches Our genuine trees are depicted in the images shown. All trees must be assembled properly in order to provide the desired effect, even though they have been securely wrapped. Install the lower section (if necessary) after assembling the tree foundation. Extend the branches of the upper portion down until you locate the electrical connection point. Before inserting the top portion of the tree into the bottom pole, connect the upper and lower electrical connections (this step is not essential for 2ft - 4ft trees because they are all one-piece). Fold the initial layer of branches just above horizontal form as you work your way up the tree; this should give the branches a thin "V" shape. Once you've reached the top layer of the tree, repeat these steps for the lower tiers. Before plugging in your tree, hang ornaments or other decorations that are on it! If gaps are apparent from various angles, raising the back branches above the front branches may be helpful. This fills in the "visual gaps" while maintaining a layered appearance. Start at the top of the tree and work your way down to disassemble it.
