The pinecone shaped shades act like cut crystal magnifying the LED light to create a lovely effect. There are various multi-action modes, from plain static, slow relaxing fades, right up to super fast flashing modes to create whichever effect you prefer. Another great feature of these lights is the option of setting a timer of 6 hours on, 18 hours off, which allows you to set and forget, the lights will switch themselves on and off at the same time every day, perfect for when placing in awkward to reach plug sockets, or just so you can be greeted with light when you come home! The cable is a dark green, so they would make great Christmas tree lights, and have the benefit of looking like decorations too!
