Visor Conforms to EN 166 2.F The 3M G500 headgear combinations has been shown to meet the basic safety requirements of the European Directive 89/686/EEC and is CE marked. The face shield models have been tested in accordance with EN 166 2.F. The full visor and carrier can flip up and hold away from the face. The visor is angled towards the chin and is swept back towards the ears, providing maximum facial protection. Ventilated visor peak. The forehead shield extends well over the forehead and reduces the risk of foreign particles penetrating from above. This updated version from the old V40 utilises Peltor Optime I hearing protection. Thanks to the robust design of the headband, G500 can be used both with and without earmuffs. The slot is 30mm and fits the Peltor P3E-earmuff attachment and is suitable for use where a helmet is not always necessary. Can be used with communication earmuffs, with a cable channel for storage. Wide, comfortable sealing rings are filled with a unique combination of liquid and foam, which gives optimum sealing and low contact pressure, ensuring the best possible comfort even during long-term use. Adjustable ratchet harness. This solution with its ergonomically designed neck support, makes it possible to obtain maximum comfort for long periods of time. 3 Positions for height adjustment. 8 Positions for head size adjustment. The adjustment dial is made of a TPE-material for maximum grip. Face shield 5F-1 Polycarbonate:(AF+AF) Weight: 138 g.
