These books all come from a personal collection, each with the owner's name and the collection number inscribed inside the front cover. Condition is generally good for their age: rather grubby externally, and pages all quite tanned, but bindings are firm with no loose pages, and no signs of foxing seen. 1. The Saint in New York (1968) - Hodder Paperbacks edition, scarce in UK 2. The Saint Goes on (1972) - Hodder (Coronet edition) 3. Vendetta for the Saint (1972) - Hodder (Coronet edition), scarce title 4. The Saint Bids Diamonds (1974) - Hodder (Coronet edition) 5. The Saint in Action (1980) - Charter edition (Grosset & Dunlap, US), rare in UK, 1st edition thus; hole punched at top R/H corner of front cover. Leslie Charteris (1907-1993), was a British-Chinese author of adventure fiction, as well as a screenwriter, was best known for his many books chronicling the adventures of his hero Simon Templar, alias "The Saint".
