This kit is supplied with high grade CAT5e cable, this is built to a higher specification than standard BT CW1308 cable (there is more twists per metre on each pair and the CAT5e is made from pure copper not CCS - copper clad steel). This ensures there is minimal degradation of the signal, perfect for maintaining broadband speed in another location. Overview One end of the supplied outdoor rated cable should be attached to your current master socket (linebox) or another extension socket using the supplied IDC tool, the cable should then be clipped into place and run to the location where you would like your new BT extension socket.
