Good condition except the book cover which is has small tears and rips mainly at the top and back of the book. Largest tear is 25mm high and 30mm wide at the top of the binding. There is an inscription: To Brenda with our love, Brenda, Joan & Betty. This book is, in all simplicity, a picture book. It was designed by the camera artist who made the pictures, and his, too, is the title - A Book of Praise. He was a man who loved beauty for its own sake... Harold Burdekin was killed by a German flying bomb in 1944. He did not live to arrange his camera studies in order, or to select the brief passages from the poets which he designed should accompany them. As noted on the Title page, Harold Burdekin was compiler of A Child's Grace, The Secret, Little Children
