A Military History And Atlas Of The Napoleonic Wars
Merchant: Oxfam
Merchant's Category: Media> Books
Approx 370 pages' landscape format, 13.5 x 11 ins. 1999 (original edition 1964). Ambitious work which is distributed roughly 50:50 between text and sketch maps of his military operations. Condition very good - pagers are clean and without marks; at head of the spine there is minor damage to both d-j and hard casing - but this is trivial. All in all, impressive and hugely detailed. Pub - Greenhill Books. This historical atlas is a seminal work on the Napoleonic Wars and provides a comprehensive overview of the battles and of Napoleon Bonaparte between 1796 and 1815. The large maps allow readers to follow the course, time and terrain of any campaign.
