A Shropshire Lad by A. E. Housman A series of poems by the author, originally published in 1896. Includes for instance, 'Loveliest of trees, the cherry now', 'On the idle hill of summer' and 'Now hollow fires burn out to black.' This edition was 'Published by the society of bookbinders on the occasion of its Jubilee Year Conference held in Prioslee, Telford 1999', as indicated on the title page. Copy 133 of only 300 published. Very good condition. Pencil line on front cover and on inside of back cover. Very slight bumps to cover edges. But mostly sharp and in good condition. Cover and pages mostly clean and in good condition.
