This beautiful book may become something of an historical treasure, as the Russian war with Ukraine is still raging, and one can only speculate about the possible outcome for collections of valuable art and artefacts. Here is a comprehensive record of the Japanese miniature works of 'plastic' art held in Alexander Feldman's private collection in Ukraine in the early 21st century, with text in English and Ukrainian, and a wealth of beautiful illustrations printed on glossy black pages in order to enhance the effect. Olexandr Borisovich Feldman (b.1960, Kharkiv) is a Ukrainian politician and public figure of Jewish origin, People's Deputy of Ukraine (since 2002), businessman, multi-millionaire, one of the most influential people in Kharkiv, and 35th in the list of 100 richest Ukrainians (2013). Since June 2015 he has been the co-chairman of the political party Our Land. Our book is in good condition, and retains its dust jacket, which is a little worn around the top & bottom edges and the spine, but not seriously so. The book itself, bound in light tan cloth with gilt title etc in Ukrainian and English on the front, and Ukrainian on the spine, is unblemished externally, and inside is tightly bound with clean pages. An inscription on the front fep is signed by Olexandr Feldman. This is a large book, so will incur an additional postage charge.
