The AIM Motorsport PDM8 is an 8 channel advanced power distribution module designed to power a multitude of vehicle circuits removing the need for traditional fuse boxes and relays. It allows for a simplified wiring harness with increased reliability and control functions. The PDM8 is available on its own or with a choice of 5", 6" or 10" dash displays. It also capable of receiving data from the vehicles ECU and even includes a data logger and GPS module for lap timing and track mapping.Simplifies electronic installations with greater control8 outputs, ideal for controlling vehicle electrical circuitsBuilt in data logging facility to log all PDM outputs and ECU data plus lap timingDash controller with 5", 6" or 10" dash display optionsGPS Module option for lap timing and track mappingRugged aluminium case designed to withstand harsh Motorsport environmentsPDM8 POWER OUTPUTS: The PDM8 features 8 high sided outputs: 1 x with series diode rated up yo 20A, 1 x rated up to 25A, 6 x rated up to 15A. Total continuous max current 100A. Each of the outputs provides feedback to the data logger to provide vital information such as open circuits, short circuits, high / low voltage, the number of fault retires and the time between the reties is user definable. All outputs can be configured as PWM's for a soft start/stop. All of the PDM circuits can be set up and monitored via the RaceStudio3 software.PDM8 INPUTS: The PDM8 features 6 x analogue/digital inputs and 2 x speed inputs.PDM8 DATA MANAGEMENT: The PDM32 is capable of receiving and recording data from the following sources, ECU - Over 1000 protocols available. Digital/analogue inputs. Internal 9 axis EMU. GPS - Lap time and position. Expansion modules. Push buttons - From RIO02 (Remote Input Output module) or any commercial CAN keypad. PDM outputs - Currents and status of each channel individually. Other user defined math channels.GPS OPTION: The GPS09 module option provides easy lap timing and lap position for track mapping. The PDM has over 4000 race tracks in the database so once you arrive at the track the system already knows the timing points so you can just get on with the driving. The GPS09 module is available with various lead lengths to suit differing applications, and with cable entry from underneath (roof version) or from the side.DASH DISPLAY OPTION: Suitable for replacing all of the dashboard gauges and warning lamps these TFT dash displays are available in 5", 6" or 10" versions, and with "Race" or "Street" icons. Both versions have fully user configurable displays and offer a range of layouts.The PDM system can be further expanded/enhanced with additional button options, such as the Remote Button CAN Interface Keypads (4-15 buttons) or CAN Wireless Wheel 10 Button Plates (4, 8 or 10 buttons, plus carbon fibre option and/or paddle shift).The AIM Motorsport PDM08 is supplied with a 35 pin AMP connector with gold pins to facilitate wiring.
